Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows. It involves a pen-like hand-tool with a cluster of fine needles. This is used to implant pigment into the skin to create life-like hair strokes. A very natural result is achieved, as the hairs are bladed into the skin flowing with the current hairs and natural growth patterns, creating natural looking eyebrows that looks like natural hairs.

Is Microblading suitable for me ?
Microblading is ideal for those who suffer from alopecia, hair loss due to chemotherapy or other medical conditions, or for women whose brows are sparse, thinning from age, over tweezed, or for those that are wanting thicker, fuller brows.

How many appointments will I need ?
Microblading is split into 2 appointments, the Initial Session, where we will lay the foundation for the shape and colour, and the Perfecting Session, to complete the process and intensify the colour. These appointments are spaced 6-12 weeks apart to give the skin ample time to heal in-between sessions. Because we are dealing with skin and healing in a variety of conditions, we cannot guarantee that two appointments will be all that is needed to complete the process. We do not, however, recommend a Colour Refresh more than twice a year after your perfecting session, as we don't want to create scarring and overwork skin.

Does Microblading hurt ?
There is some pain associated with Microblading. The procedure is causing an open wound to the skin therefore it’s
expected to feel some discomfort. As pain thresholds are very different between clients, it is still difficult to predict how much pain you will endure. Clients describe it as a light scratching sensation and feel the odd sting throughout the treatment.

How long does the procedure take ?
Please allow a solid two and a half hour window for your appointment. This includes consultation, photos, brow
mapping, numbing time and the actual Microblading process. It may not take that long, but it's not something that
should be rushed. This timeframe is also needed to discuss your vision of the brows you would like to have. It also
depends on whether we are completely reconstructing an almost absent brow, or just filling in some missing hair or
correcting minor imperfections.

How long will it take for my brows to heal ?
Healing time varies from individual to individual. Immediately after your Microblading procedure your brows will appear significantly darker and more defined than perhaps your desired look. Over the next 7 days, scabs will begin to form. Let them flake off naturally on their own. DO NOT PICK YOUR SCABS. There will be pigment within the scab and you do not want to pull any pigment out of your skin prematurely as this will result in patchy brows. Usually, it takes about 7-14 days for the top layer of skin to crust and heal. Slowly the skin cells push the pigment back to the upper layers. Although your skin may look healed after this time, the skin underneath will still be continuing to heal. The complete healing process takes approximately 5-6 weeks before you will see the true results. The Perfecting Session is then performed to perfect and complete the brows.
